Master Manufacturing 4.0 students tackle XOVERY challenge: 8 hours of innovation and creativity

Technology Meets Ingenuity: on Friday, March 7, 2025, Master Manufacturing 4.0 students had the opportunity to put their skills to the test in an 8-hour challenge entirely dedicated to the Xovery project. The event was held within the Additive Manufacturing Pilot Line of CIM4.0, specifically in the Michelangelo Room, a space designed to encourage discussion and experimentation.

An immersive experience in Xovery technology

Guided by Alice Antonelli, Xovery project manager, the students explored the potential of the drone-dirigible, an innovation that combines the lightness of a helium-filled balloon with the maneuverability of a quadricopter. The goal of the challenge was to stimulate new ideas and solutions to improve the performance and applications of the Xovery system.

Throughout the day, participants worked with enthusiasm and determination, tackling technical and creative challenges. The collaboration between the different teams made the experience even more inspiring, demonstrating how synergy between different skills can lead to innovative insights.
